My Most Successful Queen West Art Crawl ever!

10/9/2018

This year's Queen West Art Crawl was blessed with perfect early autumn weather – cool but sunny – and tons of people came out to enjoy the event in Trinity Bellwoods Park. Lots of friends and family came out to say hi, and I feel very blessed to have been so well supported - thank you so much everyone! I also sold 5 originals and several prints, making it my best-ever outdoor event to date - yay! Special thanks to KimLee Kho, who helped me all weekend long!

I had the best time at this event. There were so many art crawl events happening in my neighbourhood and I was having trouble deciding which one to go to. I heard about this one through a friend and it sounded like a great opportunity to see some local artists work, as well as try some new food options.

I was able to see almost every artist that was participating - Yasmim, Antony Pirelli, Chris Whitehead, and more! There was also a live DJ playing music for us throughout the night at each location. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly - everyone seemed to get along really well with each other, which made it even better!

The food trucks were delicious - I tried out some new things from different places like The Little Cheese Shop (which is apparently very popular in Toronto), Red Fish Blue Fish, and more! It's hard not to get hungry when you're checking out all these amazing artists working on their pieces throughout the night!

Overall, this was a great experience that I hope everyone can try out sometime soon!
