Bright Fish
A collection of poetry by the late Lavell Ferris Baldock Designed & Illustrated in collage by Kal Honey Our dear friend Lavell passed away in early 2020. Her husband Frank asked me to design a book of her poetry (most written in her youth) so he could have it published as a tribute and memorial. I was deeply touched and agreed immediately. It was quite an undertaking: her poetry is quite brilliant, so it was imperative that my illustration and design both showcase and complement her work. It's finally done and published – and I’m very proud of the result. It’s my fond hope that Lavell would be pleased! PRAISE FOR BRIGHT FISH:
