Collage MasterclassFridays: May 19 & June 23, 2023 $80.00 for two sessions 10am - 1pm Max class size: 12 Designed for artists with established collage practices, this monthly masterclass gives you an anchor point around which you can structure your own investigations. Each session, we’ll share our progress on our self-directed work, discussing options and challenges — inspiring and encouraging each other. There will be a slideshow of thought-provoking collage masterworks, a short in-class exercise to get your hands and head in the game, and an optional monthly theme that you can choose to explore a little or lot. My fond hope is to create and foster a close-knit group of artists for whom collage is a serious pursuit. As such, this masterclass will be built to support YOUR artistic progress: your input into the direction and content of our classes will be solicited, welcomed and incorporated. We will be on the easy-to-use Zoom online meeting platform. Students love my Art History slide shows, and Zoom really shines for this: you get a really good look at the work! This Masterclass is accompanied by a private Facebook Group where you can upload your finished or in-progress work to share with me and each other, soliciting and offering feedback -- and I will offer comments on all posted work. Recordings of live sessions are made available to all participants, so if you can't make the live time slot, you can watch it later. PAYMENT METHODS: E-transfer (aka Interac transfer) is preferred.
